World Food India will be inaugurated by Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on November 3 at the iconic Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan. Pashupati Kumar Paras, Minister of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, and others will be present at the event. President Droupadi Murmu, will deliver the valedictory address on November 5.
The three-day event is being organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries to showcase the rich Indian food culture to the world. The second edition of World Food India is set to be a spectacular event, drawing participants from 81 countries. The event aims to bring together key stakeholders in the food processing industry, including industry leaders, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs and academia.
The event is expected to attract 75,000 visitors over three days, offering cultural programs, classical and folk dances, and musical performances. World Food India 2023 aims to establish itself as a premier global food event, showcasing India’s world-class infrastructure, diverse culinary traditions, and innovative food industry, solidifying the country’s position as a leader in the global food sector.
