The 38th edition of AAHAR – the International Food and Hospitality Fair is an event organized by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and supported by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and APEX Industry bodies from March 7-11,2024 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The show has grown by leaps and bounds in the recent years and has become the ultimate destination for global vendors and sourcing professionals. Apart from opening new opportunities for business, the fair also offers technology innovation, skill development and collaborations.
To encourage the growth of start-ups, a special 50% discount on participation charges is being offered to them.
It is a great opportunity to meet the global vendors of hotel industry, restaurants, catering industry/institutions and importers, buyers/distributors in the food, hospitality and equipment sectors.
This year, the exhibition is being organized in an area of 1,10,000 sq.mtr. as compared to 90,000 sq.mtr. last year which has resulted in an increase in participation from 1500 to 1600 participants including participation from overseas companies from 12 countries viz. China, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, Nepal, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE.
One of the emerging sectors “Plant Based Foods” is also representing in AAHAR which is going to be an added attraction to the visitors.
This year too, a large number of trade visitors are expected to visit the fair. These include top echelons of the hotel and hospitality industry including CEOs, General Managers, Executive Chefs, Executive House Keepers, Purchase Managers, F&B Managers etc. Besides, senior representatives from Centre and State Government, catering industry and academic institutions, hotel management professionals will also visit the fair.
