About EEA: The Exhibition Excellence Awards (“EEA”) are designed to recognize the contribution of exhibition industry and felicitate its distinguished achievers. The Exhibition Excellence Awards are Asia’s iconic, one & only recognition initiative for the exhibition & convention industry, which over the years have been supported by Government bodies like Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Tourism, NSIC, and several leading national & international industry associations like UFI, IEIA, IESA, ICPB, EEMA, AFECA, IELA, IAEE, TAAI, SITE India, PATA India, PHDCCI, ASSOCHAM & many more.
About this edition: The 8th anniversary edition of Exhibition Excellence Awards will be held on 5th of June 2024 at the CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre, Mumbai. This year the EEA is coinciding with the Global Exhibitions Day on 5th June, thus strengthening the celebrations & amplifying the impact on a global level. At EEA2024, the processes have been further refined and the program has been made even more wholesome. Internationally renowned exhibitions advisory firm has been appointed as the Process Advisor & Evaluator to make the nomination process extremely fair and transparent. A highly acclaimed jury comprising distinguished professionals & industry leaders has also been set up to evaluate the live competitions.
Nomination deadline: Nominations close on 10 April 2024 (6 PM IST).
Live competing categories: This is a hugely exciting aspect of EEA where top teams in the category will compete live in front of the jury and audience (during EEA) to win the coveted winner trophy. Each shortlisted organisation will be allotted 2+1 minutes to give their presentation on stage at EEA2024. This is the biggest platform to share your best practices with the global industry at large and get the industry applause!

For any show that is held its inaugural edition between April 2023 to March 2024. Evaluation will be on the basis of parameters like: Show introduction, number of exhibitors, net exhibition area.
For any physical exhibition that employed a unique/sector and was unique in its own way. The evaluation parameters include – Show brief, event introduction along with a special focus on the uniqueness and relevance of its theme, stats of the event like exhibitors, participation, speakers etc. Exhibition should have held between 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. Top shortlisted entries will then compete live on stage at EEA2024 for the winner slot.Top Industry Impact Show (Live competition category)
This category is open for biennial shows also. For any physical show that has established itself as the torchbearer for the industry by providing maximum business opportunities for its participants. Evaluation will be on the basis of parameters like: Show introduction & history, show legacy, number of exhibitors in last edition, foreign participation in last edition (in percentage), impact of the show for the industry in terms of volume of business, queries etc. , co-located conference sessions & parallel events. Top shortlisted entries of will then compete live on stage at EEA2024 for the winner slot.
Excellence in Sustainability (Live competition category)
For any physical exhibition that excelled in implementing sustainable measures on the show floor. The evaluation parameters include – Show brief, details of measures taken by show team on-site towards sustainability. Exhibition should have held between 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. Top shortlisted entries of will then compete live on stage at EEA2024 for the winner slot.
Leading Company to Work (Live competition)
For any organizer that took special measures to keep the employees motivated and also provided opportunities for growth & learning/upskilling during the year. Evaluation will be on the basis of parameters like: organization structure/hierarchy/number of employees, measures taken for team building / boosting employee morale / mental health, growth opportunities provided, training programs for learning and upskilling. Top shortlisted entries will then compete live on stage at EEA2024 for the winner slot.
Excellence in International Shows (Live competition)
For any organizer that organised maximum number of physical exhibitions across greatest number of overseas locations during April 2023 – March 2024. Evaluation parameters will also include impact of shows, background and milestones, number of shows, number of locations. Top shortlisted entries will then compete live on stage at EEA2024 for the winner slot.
Top multi-city show (Live competition category)
For any physical exhibition that was held in multiple cities across India during April 2023 – March 2024 period. The evaluation parameters include – Show brief, impact of the show on its industry, number of participants, number of cities in which show was organised. Top shortlisted entries of will then compete live on stage at EEA2024 for the winner slot.

For any physical exhibition that employed special measures – added exciting features, value added programs, tech solutions on show floor for the participants – in order to drive more stay time or generate wow factor at the event & keep the participants (exhibitors and visitors) engaged. The evaluation parameters include – Show brief, details of measures taken on-site towards value creation and visitor/exhibitors engagement. Exhibition should have held between 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. Top shortlisted entries of each group will then compete live on stage at EEA2024 for the winner slot.

For players outside India (International exhibition industry stakeholders – Show organisers, Service providers and Event Venues) : At EEA2024, the processes have been further refined and the program has been made even more wholesome. There is no nomination fees in this segment. The objective is to honour and acknowledge the excellence of exhibition industry on a global level. Winners will be emailed a Certificate of Excellence, dedicated post on social media and exposure through print magazine write-up will be provided. This nomination form is valid for the following entities:
