The latest details of the new, landmark conference centre being built as part of Olympia’s £1.3 billion redevelopment have been revealed
Set to open in late spring 2026, the world-class conference centre will include an 850 seated capacity auditorium; eight breakout rooms; a boardroom; business lounge; and a private hire bar and restaurant. With circa 3,000 sqm of flexible space, it will lend itself to varied events from theatre-style conferences to award ceremonies.
It will also be fully connectable to the existing four iconic exhibition spaces for bespoke large event configurations. Once open, it will have its own dedicated entrance on Hammersmith Road with modern reception and registration areas.
The new Olympia Conference Centre has already generated significant interest. There have been over 300 enquiries year-to-date, across a range of industries including medical, tech, finance, manufacturing, education, agriculture, dentistry and marketing. It is set to attract more global visitors and exhibitors than ever before, with the wider destination offering endless opportunities to work, connect, refuel and unwind after conferences have taken place.
Nick Graham, Head of Sales, comments: “It’s an extremely exciting time for Olympia Events with our new conference centre due to launch in 2026. There’s nowhere else in London that will be able to offer the combination of over 130 years of heritage with unparalleled new facilities – it really is the best of both worlds. It has been great to see such a strong level of interest more than a year ahead of opening as it shows people are as excited about our future as we are!”
The wider Olympia development will encompass two globally renowned hotels – Hyatt and CitizenM; a 4,400 capacity AEG live music venue; a 1,575 seat Trafalgar Entertainment performing arts theatre; over 30 restaurants and bars; a state-of-the-art gym and 2.5 acres of new public realm to create London’s newest cultural destination
