Imex Is Showing You The 5 Mice Destinations And Many More

Every year in May the MICE professionals are coming to IMEX in Frankfurt to exchange about insider knowledge, trends, and new destinations.
This year, from May 21st to 23rd, 150 countries are present at the trade show. The additional conference program is a part of the sustainable education at IMEX. The expert knowledge starts to be shared already on May 20th, the Monday before the beginning of the fair, with the Edu Monday. For half a day, this free training course will be held, including for the second time the “She Means Business” conference, where the role of women in the MICE segment will be discussed. You can visit the world in a day at IMEX, but some of the destinations and booths we recommend are:

1. Mexico
Mexico is considered the MICE leader in Latin America. Some of the exhibitors at the show promoting this destination are the KPRN network and the Travel Lifestyle Network. At the Mexico press conference, you can get the answers to the MICE infrastructure, services, benefits of Zero tax, and many more. The speakers will be:
Mrs. Paola Félix Díaz – General Manager of the Mexico City Tourism Board
Mrs. María Antonieta Gamez Sánchez – President of the México City MICE Association ATR-CDMX Mr. Roberto Ibarra – Member of the Board ATR-CDMX and President of T&C Group Mexico is also promoted by Global DMC Partners, the largest global network of destination management companies (DMCs) who is the organizer of Connection 2019.

This event will take place from August 22nd to August 25th, 2019, at the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico. 2 . South Africa
South Africa will be fully represented with their pavilion at this year’s IMEX Frankfurt showing an update on South Africa’s business events industry performance. It is a world-class, highly capable business events destination, which ranks first in Africa and the Middle East, according to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). On a global scale, South Africa is ranked 34th as a business events destination, with Cape Town ranking first in Africa and the Middle East among host cities for association meetings for the year 2017, having held the title for two consecutive years.
South Africa’s campaign is “Meet here, grow anywhere” presenting the various and exciting events that South Africa will be hosting in the near future.

3. Greece
Megaron Athens Conference Centre has had the honor of hosting a plethora of prestigious European Society of Cardiology Conferences since 2012 and in May this year, just after IMEX, will host “Heart Failure 2019: from alpha to omega”. An expected five thousand eight hundred (5,800) healthcare professionals from more than 100 countries will be in Athens to discuss the future of prevention and the treatment of heart failure.The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is one of the highly-respected, global Associations to have put their trust in Megaron and Athens with a variety of major international conferences over the past seven years. “The ESC has chosen to work with Megaron due to its convenient location in the city center of Athens, within walking distance from major hotels and public transportation. 4. United Kingdom
Savoy Place – a riverside venue – invites you to visit them at the England Pavilion on stand F340 whilst at IMEX Frankfurt. They will be running three presentations in the Visit England booth to showcase “the top tech hacks organizers should know about, from microphones that make all the difference, to the questions that should be asked about Wi-Fi, to the ways tech can be used to create memorable branding.”

According to research recently released by the Events Industry Council (EIC) Incentive Travel is the fastest growing, highest spending sector on the MICE spectrum. SITE is the a global association dedicated exclusively to incentive travel, with over 2,500 members in 90 countries.
