OSH Bangladesh And IFSEC Bangladesh Expos Mark Their Debut In Dhaka

UBM India launched the preview editions of Occupational Safety & Health Bangladesh ( OSH ) and International Fire Security Exhibition and Conference (IFSEC Bangladesh) in Dhaka. Held at ICCB between 18th – 20th April , the co-located expos brought together internationally renowned exhibitors, consultants, industry experts and key government officials on a single platform to exchange global best practices and seek solutions for challenges pertaining to occupational health and safety, security, civil and fire protection industries.

The inauguration saw the presence of special guests: S M Khorshed, President, Bangladesh Association of Construction Industry (BACI); Md. Motaher Hoshan Khan, President, Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh- ESSAB; Fazlee Shamim Ehsan, Vice President, BKMEA; A R Chowdhury Repon, Executive Director, OSHE Foundation; George Faller, Chief Technical Advisor, RMG project, International Labour Organization (ILO); Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, UBM India and Pankaj Jain, Group Director, UBM India.Speaking on the occasion of the maiden launch of OSH and IFSEC Bangladesh in Dhaka, Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, UBM India said, “Safety is an indispensable factor towards protecting and saving human lives. OSH Bangladesh aims to be the region’s definitive annual exhibition for the occupational safety and health industry that has attracted over 30 exhibitors from India, Bangladesh, Germany, UK, USA, Sri Lanka, Japan, UAE. The expo is supported by International Labour Organisation (ILO), Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishment (DIFE), Bangladesh Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE) Foundation, Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) and Bangladesh Association of Construction Industry (BACI) for the show.
