New Delhi NCR MICE forum was initiated and formed by KINEXIN Management on July 4th, 2019 through the recommendation of KINEXIN Chairman Chang Yuel Lim and Phil Chung’s become the secretary general of the forum as the CEO of KINEXIN Convention Management Pvt Ltd that is the SPC for the operation of IICC (India International Convention and Expo Centre, www.iiccnewdelhi,com) venue The first forum was held in Novotel Aerocity near the IICC construction site of Dwarka sector 25 with a group of about 20 people attending the first forum organized by KINEXIN management.
The initial members of 20 includes senior management of deluxe hotels in and around aerocity and IICC area of New Delhi, IICC operator (KINEXIN), show organizers and other service industry professionals. The forum is *Invitation-Only in its nature, but we’re expected that the number of forum members will increase to about 100 in a few months based on the current invitation application from would-be members including senior members from 1)policy makers(government and its agencies) 2)media/journal of MICE industries and more 3)global convention/ tradeshow /exhibition/event organizers 4)leading service providers 5)associations 6)embassies 7)corporate event organizers(from Indian and global companies), which is to combine the service providers of all kind with end-users of all kinds, and also with policy makers to change the MICE scenary through constructive talks led by the forum.
The forum will be held quarterly starting from July 4th of this year, and the frequency can be adjusted based upon the demand and opinions after the opening of IICC. The main function of this forum is to gather meaningful suggestion from MICE and related industry experts, and to contribute to the further and faster development of MICE industry in India by endeavouring to reflect good policies and new supports such as government assistance programs of many kinds through the help and coordination of India government, media, association and the forum itself. And each valued participant will grow and develop his businesses by hearing from one another in both local and global perspectives, watching their valued opinions be counted in policies, construction of IICC and various assistance programs to be developed by the venue as well as administrative bodies.
