On 23rd July 2019, two more wings have been added in IPAMA’s Vision. The Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers’ of India, and the Screen Printers’ Association of India, join hands with IPAMA to make an exclusive platform for the industry players for their growth and development. In the forthcoming PRINTPACK INDIA, Industry will witness with four exclusive segments and their exclusive industry partners, FCBM for Corrugation, ALPS for Label, SPAI for Screen Print and Print Publishing for Signage, in a grand way.
The Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers’ (FCBM) of India is the apex body of India’s corrugated packaging industry with a membership of over 3000 corrugated box manufacturers. FCBM is regarded as one of the most active and well-organized trade bodies in the country. Established in 1971, the Federation comprises of 12 Associations, each representing a geographical area of the country. FCBM is the Industry partner for PRINTPACK INDIA relating to Corrugation Industry.
India corrugated box industry is an inevitable part of manufacturing sector which rely heavily on corrugated packaging for finished goods transportation and handling. India corrugated box industry grew from at a CAGR of 23.3% in terms of revenue.
SPAI – The Screen Printers’ Association of India is a national apex body of screen printers, suppliers and manufacturers. It was established in 1980 as Screen Printing Association of India (SPAI). Today it has more than 400 members (in two broad categories of printers and suppliers) – screen printers, offset printers, digital and textile printers and manufacturers, suppliers, dealers in these fields. SPAI is also the Industry partner for PRINTPACK INDIA relating to Screen Print Industry. Indian Screen Print industry can be defined as the multicoloured and multi-layered as the country itself. It is one of the most dynamic sectors of the Indian Economy with an annual growth rate of about 15 – 20%. Due to the huge potential of the printing industry for growth, all international brands and players are represented in India either directly or through their distributors.
IPAMA is the organiser of one of the world’s largest international exhibitions on graphic arts industry and has become the preferred destination of Indian and Foreign exhibitors for displaying the latest models of printing, packaging and allied machinery on a single platform which gives a glimpse of ‘Mini Graphic Arts World’. The importance of this Show can be gauged from the fact that, for participation in the previous edition of PRINTPACK INDIA Exhibition organised in February’19, around 100 companies, who were in the waiting list for allotment of space against cancellation, could not get space. The exhibition was visited by business visitors from 82 countries, which is a record.
For a rob ust presence of allied segments of graphic arts industry at PRINTPACK INDIA, IPAMA has entered into agreements with the Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers of India (FCBM) and SPAI on mutually agreed terms and conditions. The agreements were signed by the Presidents and General Secretaries of the respective organisations. The FCBM and SPAI, have been the supporting associations of PRINTPACK INDIA previous edition. The present agreements will remain in operation for the next three editions, PRINTPACK INDIA 2021, 23, 25 which will give further impetus to the business visitor campaign launched by IPAMA. As on date, 190 Indian and foreign exhibitors have already booked their space. They have also been provided Priority Numbers based on which the space will be allotted to the respective companies. The space can be booked by depositing an initial amount of Rs.50,000/- in IPAMA’s Bank account. All relevant details relating to the exhibition have been posted on IPAMA’s website.
The 15th PRINTPACK INDIA is set to be turned out a mini world show on the Graphic Arts Industry with the collaboration of respective Federations/Associations. Right on the track, IPAMA is working hard to bring the Indian graphic arts industry on the global map and there is no better platform in the entire world than PRINTPACK INDIA for the same.
