This year, one of the most awaited event of the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) and Future Point, Nakshatra 2022 (January 8-16) will commence with another popular events i.e. New Delhi World Book Fair and Aajeevika from January 8, 2022 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This year, the trio events assume a special significance as these coincide with ‘Azadi Ka Mahotsav’ – 75 year celebration of Indian independence.
After a successful edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) recently at the New Exhibition Complex of International Exhibition and Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan, these events are being organized in the beginning of the New year 2022 with all preventive measures against speared of the pandemic. ITPO appeals for strict compliance of safety and security protocol to all the stakeholders as well as visitors of the events.
Aiming to promote India’s ancient astro-wisdom, therapies and eco-friendly lifestyle, Nakshatra (Hall 7) covers a wide range of products including AYUSH sector, astrological software and equipment, vastu, yoga, literature on Vedic science, spiritual and remedial items including Gems & Stones, Vastu and Feng Shui, mantra CDs, herbal products & alternative therapies, acupressure and magnetic healing. Apart from predictions of national significance, there will be consultancy by the expert astrologers, Vastu specialists, Reiki masters, Yoga and Tarot readers. This year, as a special gesture, there will be free astro–consultation by the experts to the media persons.
Highlighting avenue of for self employment and self-reliance, another attraction ‘Aajeevika’ is an event to feature quality products of rural artisans, Self Help Groups and micro, small and medium enterprises. The event is being organized with support of the Ministry of Rural Development, CAPART, and Ministry of MSME, Government of India. It also aims to build value chain based business partnerships and market linkages. It would also enable a variety of partnerships for the economically backwards people.
Aajeevika is an imperative to preserve, protect and promote India’s rural – cultural legacy through a tripartite collaboration between the Government, Industry and the rural artisans, craft persons and weavers to expose them to the world of corporate consumers so that sustained marketing linkages can be established for their products. It will provide an ideal platform sourcing of gifts and souvenirs from India’s varied & diverse rural craft & loom
repository especially for new year celebration. Cultural programs and traditional State cuisines will be added attractions to the visitors during the event. The display profile covers: handicrafts, textiles, ready made garments, gem & jewelry, food items, organic foods, home furnishing and SME items.
To make Nakshatra 2022 more meaningful for the visitors, a number of seminars as well as promotional programs are also been organized during the currency of the events.
These nine day events will open from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm, daily. Visitor entry will be facilitated from Gate 1 (Bhairon Mandir side) & 10 (Supreme Court Metro Station Pragati Maidan).
