Bengaluru Space Expo 2024: What to Expect from September 18-20

The eighth edition of the Bengaluru Space Expo (BSX) 2024 and International Conference is set to take place from September 18 to 20 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Launched in 2008, this biennial event aims to boost private sector involvement in space exploration.

Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe), and NewSpace India Limited, BSX 2024 will highlight innovations in space technology. Key areas of focus include launch vehicles, satellites, space-based solar power, and in-space manufacturing.

The expo will feature over 250 space companies and attract around 10,000 business visitors, including representatives from ISRO and international space leaders. Highlights include an international conference themed “Accelerating Tomorrow: Harnessing the Potential of the Space Sector for Unified Expansion,” which will delve into the socio-economic impacts of space technologies, policy reforms, and future advancements in satellite navigation and communications.

Additionally, the event will include 10 international pavilions, an innovation and startup pavilion, and various workshops and discussions on space exploration technologies.
