4th edition of Delhi Dental Show, an initiative of the Indian Dental Association (IDA), held from 13 to 14 July, 2019 at Pragati Maidan. A two-day event was the ultimate destination catered to the needs of dental professionals, students and enthusiasts. The show was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Lt. Gen. Dr. Sanjay Londhe on 13th July at 9.30 am.
The event included comprehensive CPD lectures, panel discussion by industry experts and opportunities for networking. Dental practitioners and students took advantage of the hands-on training and live demonstrations. These demonstrations and hands-on training not only educated them but also enabled them to take practical knowledge dental practice to the next level. While talking Dr Bushra Shaikh Surab – General Manager, Indian Dental Association, Mumbai said, “Indian Dental Association is a professional organization of the dentist in India. We are here since 1946; our entire work is for the dentists and towards the public. Our focus is to have the optimal oral health for all as well as to keep professional activities dedicated towards the advancement of dentist members and in this regard we organize the Delhi Dental Show.” “Parallel shows related to dental shows make us special from other show that it is directly organized by IDA and because it is organized by IDA you can expect the right level of scientific activities, right level of participation from each section of the dental fraternity. The association itself is the USP of Delhi Dental Show so; you can make sure that it’s absolutely focused towards the development of the industry, development of our dental professionals, which intern will help us to deliver better health care to the public of India.” added Dr. Bushra. India market has the huge potential and as the things are moving towards the digital side these days what we are trying to do is to bring the concept of practice management system which is incorporated along with the clinical decision support system to make the performance and the work of dentist easier.
