The Electrical Engineering Expo (ELEX) 2017 organised at Kochi’s CIAL Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre from December 13 to 15 attracted all the major electrical & allied products companies and government organizations to showcase their products and latest technology. Companies like Autokast, ISRO, KMRL, DRDO, KINFRA, Anert, Telk, Keltron, Cochin Shipyard, Kochi Metro, Kohler, Compaq, Transfix, V-Guard, Traco Cables, QWave, Navalt, Siemens, Hitachi, Crompton Greaves, and Finolex showcased their latest advancements in the exhibition. Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering Products (KEL) termed the expo with the theme name ‘Powering Future Kerala’. Exclusive conferences were conducted on topics like Global Experience on Energy Efficiency and Climate Change, Elevating Industrial Energy Efficiency in Kerala and Powering God’s Own Country with Sun.With the initiative ELEX 2017 acted as a one-stop destination for all forms of electrical and allied products and equipment in the country. The main participants of the exhibition are from Electrical Power Transmission and Distribution Sectors, LED Light Manufacturers, Manufacturers of Machinery/ Equipments for Transformer Production, Plant & Machinery Manufacturers for Solar Panels, Heavy Steel Structural Sectors, Industrial/ Civil/ Commercial Construction Sectors and Electrical Home Products.
