Smriti Zubin Irani, Union Hon’ble Union Minister of Textile and Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India on 16th April 2018 at India Expo Centre. In her inaugural speech she had applauded the management of ACTERM for a unique approach undertaken in enhancing new skillsets. With the progressive economy in place, the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events) industry in India is growing annually at a steady pace. India is now a regular host to the largest exhibitions, events, conferences and global conventions. With the government being so active at the international front and with increasing bilateral ties with various countries this phenomenon of hosting global events will be on the rise. As a result, India is witnessing a lot of new convention centres coming up and more and more MNCs are setting up their office in India. With such a huge growing market, the industry is in ardent need of well-trained manpower to push the industry a step further.
