On Monday, the Nampally, Hyderabad exhibition grounds hosted the opening of the 83rd edition of the All India Industrial expo. This is one of the largest industrial exhibitions and it will last for about 45 days i.e. 1st January 2024 to 15th February 2024. The show was inaugurated by CM A Revanth Reddy, IT Minister and AIIE Society President D Sridhar Babu and BC Welfare Minister Poonam Prabhakar.
According to authorities from the exhibition group, there will be 2,400 stalls this year. On weekdays, Numaish is open from 4 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. and on weekends, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. According to AIlE officials, there will be a “Children’s Day” on January 31 and a “Ladies Day” on January 9 when men are not permitted.
Day one saw, as usual, a lack of the normal bustle because of low foot traffic. Due to traders still setting everything up, over 40% of the stalls were not yet completely operational. The remaining stall owners were occupied with installation work, with the exception of stalls displaying clothing, dress materials, dried fruits, electronics and electric items, restaurants, furniture, kitchenware, and a few departments of the state and federal governments.
Numaish Masnuat-e-Mulki or Numaish also known as Exhibition is an annual consumer exhibition held in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It features joy rides, eateries and other entertainment options for the visitors.
