The Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair and the Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, the two shows that traditionally kick off toy fair season, has officially been postponed to April. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has moved the shows due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, citing that international exhibitors and buyers would not be able to attend the show due to continued quarantine measures and travel alerts. “After consultation with industry representatives and key stakeholders, a decision has been made to reschedule the above two fairs to 27-30 April 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, coinciding with the HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair,” a statement reads on the HKTDC website. “The concurrent Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, jointly organized by the HKTDC and CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Ltd, will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo.”The virtual HKTDC Autumn Sourcing Week, scheduled for Nov. 16 to 27, will still take place. The online service offers buyers business matching and virtual meetings.
