IEIA launches inaugural Young Ambassadors Program to cultivate future leaders in exhibition industry

The Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) has launched its first batch of the IEIA Young Ambassadors Program, bringing together over 30 ambitious young professionals from across the country. This initiative, spearheaded under the aegis of the IEIA Focus Group – Fantastic Under 40s, underscores the association’s commitment to nurturing young talent and aspiring leaders in the Indian exhibitions industry.

The program kicked off with an inspiring Welcome Address by Ms. Vibha Bhatia, Co-Chair of the IEIA Fantastic Under 40s Focus Group and President (Events) at MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications Private Limited. Ms. Vibha highlighted the objectives behind this initiative, emphasizing the importance of developing strong leaders for the future.

The inaugural sessions featured insights from eminent industry stalwarts, including Mr. Ravinder Sethi, Chair of the IEIA Fantastic Under 40s Focus Group, Vice President of IEIA, and CMD of R E Rogers India Pvt. Ltd.; Ms. Sonia Prashar, Immediate Past President of IEIA and Chairperson of the Board and Managing Director at NürnbergMesse India Pvt. Ltd.; and Mr. Matthias Tesi Baur, Founder of MBB-Consulting Group and Event Portfolio Strategy Expert.

These industry leaders shared their perspectives on two key topics: “India: The Biggest Opportunity in Exhibition Industry” and “Communication is the Key: Cultural Intelligence in Exhibition Management.” Their insights provided valuable guidance and inspiration to the young professionals, highlighting the vast opportunities within the Indian exhibition industry and the crucial role of effective communication and cultural intelligence in successful exhibition management.
