The 2-day Buyer Seller Meet and Open Exhibition, India Diamond Week by Gems and Jewellery export Promotion Council (GJEPC) was held at The Lalit Hotel, Mumbai. This was the second edition of the event and was scheduled from 23rd-25th October, 2018 in conjunction with World Diamond Council AGM and WFDB Congress. Powered by Gemological Institute Of America (GIA), the event saw participation of 38 diamond manufacturers. The buyers at the event were from countries like USA , Russia, China, Hongkong, South Korea, South Africa, Turkey, Middle East, Iran, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, South Korea, Europe, Israel. Amrut Gems, Kumbh Gems, JK Star, Samarth Diamonds, etc were some of the exhibitors present at the event; which was a platform for buyers and sellers of diamond to network with people from the industry and explore business opportunities. Networking dinners were organised at the event with the attendees of WDC ADM and WFDB Congress for the same purpose. While the first day was dedicated to one-on-one meetings, there was an open exhibition on the second. Every exhibitor received a space of 9sqm. at the exhibition. The event was a great platform to meet key industry players and decision makers along with potential buyers all at one place.
