Informa Markets in India Unveils Futuristic Corporate Film ‘MILAN’

Informa Markets in India (IMI) is excited to announce the launch of its highly anticipated corporate AV film, ‘MILAN,’ marking a bold progression from its previous brand film released over nine years ago. Aligned with IMI’s Festivity of Business campaign and celebrating the organisation’s 18 years of excellence in fostering business connections and industry growth, MILAN captures the essence of evolution and opportunity in today’s business world. The grand unveiling at The St. Regis, Mumbai, is set to bring together industry leaders, promoting collaboration and innovation.

The AV reflects IMI’s aspirations for the next decade, portraying the company as a trailblazer in connecting businesses and inspiring the next steps in their growth. The central message of ‘Starting the Right Conversations’ showcases IMI as the key enabler of opportunities, driving businesses toward the future by fostering impactful connections. It resonates emotionally, urging businesses to explore new possibilities and opportunities.

Set in a sci-fi-inspired world expo, the film transports viewers from a barren desert to a futuristic, bustling expo of endless possibilities. The transition symbolises the journey of businesses—from struggling in hostile environments to thriving with the right connections. The visually stunning world is brought to life with holographic displays, neon elements, and floating structures, emphasising India’s readiness to embrace the future.

Rooted in Indian culture, the AV maintains its ‘Indian flavour’ with vibrant contrasts in costumes and a scene-stealing woman on a Chakda motorcycle, embodying IMI’s fearless approach to innovation. The film speaks to a demographic of late 20’s to 40’s entrepreneurs with a commitment to building Future India. Older audiences will feel a sense of pride in seeing India on the global stage.

With eight months of intensive refinement before the production began in May 2024. MILAN was brought to life by a powerhouse team, led by Creative Director Prateek Sethi of Trip Creative Services, known for his work across major campaigns and animated series. Filmmaker Himadri Mandal added a layer of storytelling magic, while Kabir Bedi’s narration lends gravitas to the entire production. Other notable contributors include Shruti Mhatre (Costume Stylist), Oankar Chavan (Director of Photography), and Rahull Raut (Sound Designer). The star-studded cast features Vedieka Dutt, Neel Samarth, and Lovedeep Sharma.

The narrative follows two friends lost in a desert—a metaphor for struggling businesses—until a good Samaritan, representing Informa Markets in India, guides them to a vibrant carnival of opportunities. The expo acts as a launchpad for ideas, recognition, and innovation.

The AV is a visual spectacle, using a mix of CGI, VFX, and holographic technology to create a larger-than-life world that symbolises the future of India. The film aims to inspire businesses to explore uncharted territories and become a part of the myriad platforms IMI provides.

With this AV, Informa Markets in India invites companies, both established and emerging, to join a universe of opportunities. The film highlights how IMI helps businesses form the connections that build relationships and unlock endless possibilities.
