Japan Will Participate as the Country Partner in the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit.

Japan will serve as the country partner for the Global Investors Summit (GIS) scheduled to take place in Bhopal on February 24-25. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced this development on Wednesday and is scheduled to visit Japan from January 27 to February 1 to attract investments for the state. The visit aims to strengthen international collaboration and promote Madhya Pradesh as an investment destination.

Ahead of the summit, the 11 departments directed by MP Chief Minister to finalize their investment policies, with 21 policies currently under development. Key initiatives being prepared include the Madhya Pradesh Investment Promotion Policy 2025, MP Logistics Policy, and the Madhya Pradesh Export Promotion and ODOP Policy 2025 under the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department. The MSME Department is also working on the MSME Development Policy 2025, MP MSME Land Development Allotment Policy 2025, and MP Start-up Policy, among others. Additionally, renewable energy-focused policies, such as the MP Pump Hydro Storage Policy 2025 and Madhya Pradesh Biofuel Promotion Policy 2025, are being developed to drive sustainable growth.

During the summit, several policies will be introduced to facilitate swift decision-making on investment proposals. These include the MP Global Capability Centres Policy 2025, MP AVGS-XR Policy 2024, Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Policy 2025, and MP Drone Promotion Policy 2025. Other initiatives encompass the Madhya Pradesh Aviation Policy 2025, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Investment Policy 2025, and MP Film Tourism Policy 2025, alongside targeted policies for urban development, medical infrastructure, and irrigation systems. These efforts aim to streamline investment processes and position Madhya Pradesh as a favourable hub for business and innovation.
