The Allan Labor Government is set to host one of the world’s largest business events in Melbourne next year, reinforcing its commitment to supporting business.
Minister for Major Events Steve Dimopoulos, alongside ICC Secretary General John W.H. Denton, Victorian Chamber CEO Paul Guerra, and Melbourne Convention Bureau CEO Julia Swanson, announced a new partnership to bring the 14th World Chambers Congress to Melbourne.
Often referred to as the ‘Business Olympics,’ the World Chambers Congress will take place from 2 to 4 September 2025 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The event will spotlight Victorian businesses on the global stage as it welcomes 2,000 business leaders, government and trade delegations, and local entrepreneurs from around the world to Melbourne.
This Congress serves as a unique platform for exchanging ideas and best practices in global chamber operations and international business. It will attract key government representatives from major economies, creating new opportunities for trade, investment, and partnerships for Victoria.
Melbourne secured the rights to host the 14th World Chambers Congress in December 2022, reflecting Victoria’s status as a top destination for major business events.
