NürnbergMesse takes a stake in the trade fair organizer trendfairs

NürnbergMesse has a majority stake in trendfairs GmbH, a premium provider of special trade fairs based in Fürth and Munich. The portfolio of trendfairs GmbH includes a total of five high-quality B2B events in the areas of interior, lifestyle and technology, which are held in Germany, Austria and, in the future, also in Switzerland. “With trendfairs, we are gaining a top trade fair organizer who has been delighting its exhibitors and visitors for many years with its excellent event know-how, impressive customer proximity and tailor-made formats,” says Peter Ottmann, CEO of NürnbergMesse Group, pleased about the participation. Michael Rambach, managing partner and founder of trendfairs GmbH, adds: “We use a lot of expertise and passion to create extraordinary trade fair concepts in which the customer is always the focus. As a member of the NürnbergMesse Group, we also want to develop new topics and events, exploit synergies and grow together!”

trendfairs GmbH will continue to be responsible and active on the market for its customers as an independent company. Synergy effects are to be achieved in the medium term with regard to NürnbergMesse’s existing event portfolio, procurement and know-how transfer between trade fair professionals. The focus of trendfairs is on the topics of kitchen, interior and technology; the organizer has specialized in these sectors with its trade fairs: The annual trade and order fair “area30” with the showroom “cube30” is a recognized platform for them German kitchen and furnishing industry.

The “küchenwohntrends Salzburg” trade fair has been showing current trends in the areas of kitchens, food and living every two years since 2013 in cooperation with “ Möbel Austria “, and the new “WORLD OF FIREPLACES” has been focusing on fireplaces and feel-good ambiences since April 2023 and finds them all took place in Leipzig for two years. New is the “swiss interior expo”, which will be held in Bern from November 2024 as a trade fair for kitchens and furnishings.

Partnership

trendfairs was founded in 2010 by managing partner Michael Rambach, who will share management with Claudia Weidner, previously responsible for operations and strategy, from January 1, 2024. Ulrike Rohde, the previous managing director, has retired but continues to advise the company.
