PharmaTech Expo 2024 & LabTech Expo 2024 concludes with promising outcomes

The 17th edition of PharmaTech Expo 2024 & LabTech Expo 2024 successfully concluded from August 8th to 10th, 2024, at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The event, a prominent platform for showcasing innovations in pharmaceutical and lab technology, was well-received, with over 400 exhibitors and approximately 20,000 visitors. Over a period, it has emerged as a crucial platform for showcasing the latest innovation and technologies throughout all phases of the product lifecycle, focusing Pharma manufacturing and processing technology, pharmaceutical systems and services.

Highlights included a seminar on “Facility and System Upgradation as Per Revised ‘Schedule M’ and Regulatory Compliance for Nutraceuticals,” and a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet organized by the Indo-Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IACCI) that facilitated meetings between Indian and African business leaders.

This three-day program of holding exhibition, Technical Seminar and Byers-Sellers Meeting provided a platform for the industry players to understand current issues and opportunities in the Pharma Machinery and pharma product sector especially in this region. Additionally, the exhibition showcased the latest products, machinery, equipment & developments in the industry for test marketing, generating business and technology adaptation and up gradation especially related Pharma machinery and products.

The event was inaugurated by distinguished guests including Shri Rushikesh Patel, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat, and Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Minister of State for Home & Industries, among others. They praised the exhibition for its role in advancing Gujarat’s pharmaceutical sector and supporting small and medium enterprises.

Shri Rushikesh Patel appreciated the organising of this exhibition and said that the efforts made by Government of Gujarat in the health section has been transformative ad rejuvenating. The State boasts for 30% India’s Export of Pharmaceutical and drug industry products. The significant policy decision and notable initiatives as resulted in expeditious development of pharma industry in Gujarat.

Shri Harsh Sanghavi praised the efforts of the organizer for providing appropriate opportunities to small and medium scale pharmaceutical machineries and pharma products units in the state. The right type of infrastructure has boosted the SMEs wide spread in the state

Mr. Koshia extended heartfelt congratulations to the  organizers and support associations for consecutive organising this pharma event blessed with incremental development in terms of number of units and exhibition area
