The ongoing 2024 editions of electronica India, productronica India, and Semicon India are making a significant impact, showcasing an unprecedented scale and scope compared to previous years. The event has attracted a record-breaking 830 exhibitors from 29 countries, a notable increase from the 589 exhibitors in 2023. With attendance expected to exceed 50,000 business visitors, up from 39,133 last year, this expansion underscores the growing global interest and industry significance of these premier technology exhibitions.

The event, held from September 11-13, 2024, at the India Expo Mart Limited in Greater Noida, features key conferences such as eFuture and eMobility, which aim to prepare the industry for future advancements.

Global value chains (GVCs) are crucial to modern manufacturing, representing 70% of global trade, and in India, they are essential for the electronics sector, with 75% of exports relying on them. To enhance its position, India must focus on innovation, collaboration, and technology adoption. Messe Muenchen India (MMI) is hosting its largest-ever edition of electronica India and productronica India 2024, bringing together a comprehensive range of technology solutions—from the smallest components to intricate manufacturing processes.

Bhupinder Singh, CEO of Messe Muenchen India, comments, “The significant rise in both domestic and international participation at this year’s event highlights India’s growing role in the global electronics value chain. This expanded global involvement underscores the opportunities for innovation and collaboration and solidifies India’s position as a key hub for technological advancement and strategic partnerships.”

Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, CEO of Messe München, adds, “Uniting electronica India and productronica India into a single transformative platform showcases cutting-edge technologies and drives advancements in the Indian electronics industry. As these events evolve into global platforms, they continue to attract international technology suppliers keen to engage with India’s expanding market.”
