Indian Machine Tools Manufacture’s Association (IMTMA) organized the 2nd edition of Delhi Machine Tool 2017 from 1oth to 13th August, 2017 at Pragati Maidan ,Delhi.
Being Northern India’s largest B2B machine tool expo, the exhibition holds an specific importance. It was inaugurated by Mr. Rattan Kapur, President of Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Mr.Parakramsinh G. Jadeja, President – IMTMA, Mr. P. Ramadas, Vice President – IMTMA and Mr. V. Anbu, Director General and CEO of IMTMA.
With over 240 exhibitors, the expo covers the entire gamut of metal working machine tools for both metal cutting and metal forming including automation and robotics, tooling systems, CAD/CAM and other technologies which are essential for today’s manufacturing.
While addressing the consumers at the inauguration, Mr. Rattan Kapur, President, Automotive Components Manufacturers’ Association (ACMA) said,
“Machine Tool is the backbone of the manufacturing industry and contributes immensely towards its development. ACMA and IMTMA have been working closely towards addressing the growing needs of the automotive component manufacturers and shall continue to do so in the years to come. Exhibitions like these will enable the manufacturers in the region to explore and get closer to the technologies they are looking for. Government of India’s Auto Mission Plan ( AMP) 2016-26 aims to make automobile manufacturing the main driver of ‘Make in India’ initiative as passenger vehicles market is likely to triple to 9.4 million units by 2026 creating tremendous opportunity for machine tool industry.”
“IMTMA has acted as a catalyst in the overall development of the machine tool and manufacturing industry through its various initiatives such as exhibitions, seminars, summits, training of industry workforce for enhancing skill development through its Tech Centers. More than 100 trade delegations representing auto components, automobiles, railways, defense, aerospace, power and heavy engineering will be visiting the Expo in next four days.” said, Mr. P.G. Jadeja, President IMTMA.
Welcoming the delegates, Mr. V. Anbu, Director General and CEO of IMTMA said,
“We have 242 exhibitors displaying state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovations for both metal cutting and metal forming as well Metrology and Welding. Ten foreign countries Australia, Czech Republic, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, USA including India are participating in the show”.
