For stand builders, it is crucial to enhance their skills and capabilities to meet the growing demands of the industry. The fraternity has always put in a tremendous amount of effort and creative thinking to meet the expectations of the clients. Unfortunately, their hard work goes unnoticed and so it is important to bring in the proper regulatory system and in this regard STANDBUILD 2023 held two panel discussion with organizers, and venue managers to bring in the key issues to the forefront. The panel discussions addressed several topics, including unrealistic timelines for setting up and dismantle, security deposits, venues with inadequate or no ventilation, insufficient restroom facilities for our workforce, access to exhibitor manuals, and other situations that have made it difficult to operate smoothly.
The organizers provided insights on how to deal with the challenges and the deadlock that have not yet been taken into consideration.
As Stand Builders, it is also important to ensure that the workforce adheres to safety and hygiene standards. To bring about a meaningful transformation, it must also reflect on their own actions and make responsible choices. While it’s not possible to find solutions to all the issues overnight, the session proved to be useful one as the message has been conveyed.
Apart from this, exciting discussions took place regarding immersive technology and its accessibility, as well as the best approach to selecting or offering customer experiences during show days.
Another important panel discussion was regarding sustainability. The events industry has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, as sustainability takes center stage. It’s important that fraternity should embrace the responsibility of disposing exhibition waste in a sensitive and responsible manner. In order to delve deeper into these topics, ASEDAC is excited to announce that they will be organizing special sessions focusing on technology and sustainability in the near future.
Through this platform ASEDAC also launched the magazine StandBUILD, which will be published annually. This will keep the industry updated with AESDAC’s achievements and future endeavours, as well as topics of interest that benefit our fraternity. Overall, ASEDAC 2023 replicated the huge success of its previous edition and such platform will further catapult the cause of people involved in design and fabrication of exhibition stands.
