The US state of Georgia allows conventions to take place again after July 1. Governor Brian Kemp has issued an Executive Order that eases health-related restrictions related to COVID-19, allowing spectator sports and live performance venues to reopen and conventions to resume, subject to restrictions.
Georgia is home to the Georgia World Congress Center, one of the largest convention centres in the US. Last week, Texas allowed conventions and exhibitions to go ahead, imposing limits of occupancy.
Restrictions include concrete social distancing and hygienic measures. All details can be found on page 36-38 of the order itself. Click here to access the document – 06.11.20.01 (1)
