The UP International Trade Show (UPITS) is a visionary initiative by the Uttar Pradesh Government to enhance trade and business across various sectors. Building on the groundbreaking success of the inaugural UPITS 2023—graced by Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath—this year’s event aims to further solidify Uttar Pradesh’s position on the global stage. The first edition attracted over 500 international buyers, 70,000 domestic buyers, and welcomed more than 300,000 visitors, showcasing the state’s commitment to the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ vision through success stories like the One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative, which has significantly boosted exports and job creation.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of IEML, expressed appreciation for the UP Government’s support during a recent roadshow, highlighting plans to include a broader range of categories and sectors in the upcoming edition. He promised to showcase previously omitted products and ventures, noting that UPITS 2024 will be grander and set new benchmarks for success.
Aiming to surpass expectations, UPITS 2024 will serve as an unparalleled sourcing platform, uniting government officials, policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and international delegates. This event promises to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s rich craftsmanship, innovation, and business potential, with the Council of Buying and Sourcing Consultants estimating potential business generation around ₹4,000 crore.
Mr. Sudeep Sarcar, CEO, India Expo Centre & Mart, confirmed that UPITS 2024 will undergo extensive promotion through roadshows and strategic meetings, maximizing outreach to engage key demographics across various regions. This concerted effort underscores the commitment of the Uttar Pradesh government and its partners to ensure that UPITS 2024 is a resounding success. The event is poised to be a landmark occasion, positioning Uttar Pradesh as not only a cultural and economic powerhouse but also a vibrant hub for the global trading community. 
India Expo Centre & Mart, one of India’s largest integrated exhibition and convention venues, spans 58 acres with a built-up area of 234,453.29 square meters. With 15 years of experience in managing exhibitions and trade fairs, the venue features 14 multipurpose halls, 134 guest rooms, lounges, extensive parking, and modern safety and security facilities, making it an ideal setting for UPITS 2024
