In a recent development, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), on Monday, 23 August 2021 appointed Sh. Vibhu Nayar, Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Tamil Nadu Cadre, batch-1990 as Executive Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) under the Department of Commerce. Mr. Nayar is selected for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31 October 2025 from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders.In a recent development, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), on Monday, 23 August 2021 appointed Sh. The official notification stated, “Vibhu Nayar, lAS (TN:1990) appointed as Executive Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) under the Department of Commerce for a tenure up to his superannuation on 31/10/2025 from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment of Mr. Nayar (43 other appointments also done by ACC) has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) which is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as per the order by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Shri Vibhu Nayar was born on 24/10/1965 in Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Nayar’s multilingualism makes him more proficient in understanding the diverse culture of India. Despite posted in Southern most part of India he can speak Punjabi, Hindi and English very well. He has completed his Mechanical Engineering with distinction from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar and Post Graduation from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
